Talkin’ Music with Gerry is a music series hosted by DMF Artistic Director (and former professional opera singer), Gerry Powers. The goal of this series is to help expand your knowledge-base of music, regardless of your experience level. The format of the show is conversational and engaging, allowing the viewer to easily follow along, learn and enjoy, all while gaining a greater understanding and appreciation of music.

The new Instructional Mini-Series, led by DMF Instructor, Scott Schmitz and taught by a variety of instructors from Daniel’s Music, are short, instructional videos where you can learn a new instrument or simply expand your knowledge. Dance Break with Juliana

Dance Break with Juliana is a new series hosted by DMF Instructor Juliana Beekmans, alongside other members of the DMF Community, who will inspire you to let loose and discover the dancer inside of you. The goal of this series is to encourage everyone to move and dance freely and confidently. Follow along as Juliana incorporates the five elements of dance: body, action, space, time and energy, while creating a safe, supportive and open space where everyone can dance. Dance Break is a fresh alternative to your daily coffee break and is a fun, healthy 2 - 3 minute opportunity to boost your energy and get your body moving. Remember anyone can dance, and nobody can dance like you can!

An online series hosted by an unlikely duo, our very own Daniel & Ken Trush, who represent two stereotypes - Disability and Aging and are just trying to bring a little sunshine into the world. Join them as they discuss thoughtful and engaging topics related to music and disabilities, share some of their own personal experiences in a light-hearted manner and highlight diverse musicians and individuals from around the world. The goal of the show is to create the opportunity for people to understand and appreciate differences – and of course smile!

Nancy’s Book Corner, led by our very own Nancy Trush, an early childhood educator (and Daniel’s mom), is a read-aloud series of children’s books that introduce disabilities and celebrates differences. Designed with children in mind but with a universal message for all, Nancy brings viewers along on a fun, educational, and thought-provoking journey using books from a variety of authors to help everyone see the ability in disability.
